Welcome home to yourself - Uma Dinsmor-Tuli -

About Us

Welcome

I am Avery - mother, yoga teacher, forager and lover of the outdoors.

I have been practicing yoga for over a decade now. I was initially drawn to the practice as a way to maintain flexibility but soon realised that yoga is about so much more than that. Yoga invites you to meet yourself where you are, allowing space for curiosity and exploration, and the cultivation of a deeper level of self awareness. Yoga is not just a movement practice, it is a way of being.

I completed a 200hr Vinyasa Flow teacher training in May 2018 with the desire to share the transformational powers of yoga with others. I then went on to complete an 80hr Pregnancy Yoga teacher training with Uma Dinsomore-Tuli and Lisa White in 2019, while pregnant myself, as a way to connect in new and nourishing ways with my ever changing pregnant body and my growing baby.

My classes are rooted in the rhythms of nature. The vinyasa classes are rich with creative, dynamic, strength building movements with a focus on finding what feels good in your body and flowing with your breath. The pregnancy yoga classes are deeply nourishing, restorative, slow moving classes that give you space to slow down and connect with yourself and your baby. Linking breath and movement allows the body and mind to harmonize. My classes aim to create a space where you can be curious and find connection.

Classes

Dynamic classes rooted in the rhythms of nature. We will build heat, flow with our breath, tune in to what our bodies need and lean into that. These classes are both invigorating and nourishing.

Pregnancy yoga gives you a chance to connect with your pregnant body and your growing baby. Through movement, breathwork, and relaxation you can open up the pathways of connection to better understand yourself and your baby as you prepare to meet one another. “From the yoga perspective, the pregnant body is a physical manifestation of unconditional love” - Uma Dinsmore-Tuli.
